AR Review: - Mike add David's text for 4.2.21, 4.2.23, 4.2.25 to IQ spec - TBD New items: AR: Mike post Roy's doc in work archive - Roy suggested that there should be documentation for ibischk - Mike, Bob, and Michael Mirmak have made various efforts - Access to the source code is limited - Bob: at end of year IBIS usually has money to lose Continued review of IQ specification: - 5.1.1. {LEVEL 2} [Model] parameters have correct typ/min/max order - We reviewed usage of min/typ/max data in IBIS - Bob said that min/typ/max is by process corner for all data except C_comp - The min data is slow, max data is fast - C_comp min is the lowest value, which admittedly is usually fastest - Expected min temperature value is highest for CMOS, lowest for bipolar - Kim pointed out that it is difficult to determine slow/fast by looking at IV tables - Looking at area under IV curves may not be correct - David said that package values are in numerical order, and - Bob: package values are not correlated with buffer corner - This check should explain the exceptions - Kim said the current text of this check is contradictory - David said that Hyperlynx takes max [Package] for slow sims - But this check is only about model data - Moshiul said that IBIS [Temperature] is not really used by simulators AR: Bob modify 5.1.1 to explain [Temperature] better Roy prepared a report to IEEE EMC group on IBIS activities - Covers: - ATM - IQ (David Banas presentation) - ad-hoc Interconnect group, Touchstone 2 - Mirmak SPICE3 proposal - FSV for model accuracy - Half of the 1000 person conference interested in our area - They have a TC-10 standards committee working on FSV - Interested in working with us - 1/3 of their papers would be of interest to ibis-list - Dr. Albert Rulie, inventor of PEEC method very interested in putting an IBIS wrapper around SPICE - We could put relevant IEEE papers in our work archive - They talked quite a bit about IBIS Next meeting: 24 Jul 2007 11-12 AM EST (8-9 AM PST) Phone: 1.877.384.0543 or 1.800.743.7560 Passcode: 90437837 Meeting ended at 12:03 PM Eastern Time.
